Two Coves Walk
Enjoy an immensely rewarding guided walk along a wild and beautiful stretch of the Almería coastline. Gentle ascents and descents lead along narrow footpaths bordered by aromatic thyme bushes and esparto grass, with changing views of the Mediterranean and the rugged landscape at every turn.
The route culminates at two secluded, unspoilt coves where impressive rock formations provide wonderful opportunities for admiring the scenery and taking photographs. Although this is a linear walk, the outward and return paths are different, adding extra variety and allowing you to experience the landscape from new perspectives.
The route covers approximately 7 km, with around 170 metres of ascent and approximately 2–2.5 hours of walking. Difficulty is moderate. Participants should be confident, have a reasonable level of fitness and be comfortable walking on rough and uneven ground. If conditions allow and you would like to enjoy the sea, you may also bring swimwear and a towel.
