A Lifelong Passion for Spain and Almería
Paul’s connection with Spain began long before Almería Trips. After graduating with a degree in Spanish, he made Spain his home and has spent more than three decades exploring its language, history, culture, landscapes and traditions.
From walking the Camino de Santiago to discovering historic towns, mountain ranges and hidden corners across the country, these experiences now shape every tour he leads.
Based in eastern Almería, Paul combines deep local knowledge with a friendly and relaxed approach. His aim is simple: to help visitors discover the real Almería beyond the usual tourist routes.

Almería Trips has its own dedicated, air-conditioned vehicle, fully prepared for excursions across the province. This allows us to offer a more comfortable, personal and flexible experience without relying on crowded coaches or third-party transport.
On private tours, the vehicle is reserved exclusively for your group, giving you greater privacy and freedom throughout the day. Scheduled excursions are also kept small and relaxed, with convenient pick-up available from Mojácar, Vera Playa and surrounding towns.
