Set out from the Vera and Mojácar area for a guided circular walk of approximately eight kilometres through the colourful foothills of the Sierra Cabrera.
Follow part of the Argar route of the Camino de Santiago, walk along a panoramic ridge overlooking Mojácar Playa and Garrucha, descend to two wild beaches and return through a winding dry river valley.

Multicoloured Mountains and Pretty Coves
Begin with an ascent into the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera, briefly following the Argar route of the Camino de Santiago. Continue along a scenic ridge with sweeping views across the mountains, beaches, Mojácar Playa and the port of Garrucha.
Reach a high viewpoint before descending on a fairly steep path to a wider track leading towards the sea. Discover a first beach and then a second wild cove, where a refreshing dip may be possible if the weather and conditions allow.
Return through a winding dry river valley to complete this circular route of approximately 8 km, with around 250 metres of ascent. A reasonable level of fitness and confidence with hill walking are required.
